Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and then went on to a three-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of all fights. Then, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had previously defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were damaged. Ladd returned from her defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round, via a TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen took on McGill in her wrestling, and finished her off in the third round TKO. In the following fight, she took on Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18. She weighed catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen took on Hoy and got her out at the end of round two via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night's bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd's win was a majority decision, and the Fight of the Night award came to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within only 16 seconds. At the end of round three on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place, she was able to take on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
